The truth of the matter is this. Most blogs are badly written, poorly presented, and simply bore me to tears. I'd rather watch paint dry than read most of the stuff being churned out by the mediocre minds in the blog-o-sphere. BUT...if you are passionate, INTERESTING and have a point of view, a good blog is an effortlessly EASY way of parlaying that passion into profit. And fast.
Remember - a blog is no longer a euphemism for a 17 year old kid sharing thoughts on a My space page. It is a powerful driver and platform for much of the commerce being done online these days, and will continue to grow as an efficient and entertaining vehicle to reach out into the world, stamp your thoughts on the collective minds of an interested audience, make your mark AND amp up your income at the very same time.
And STOP Looking for the Magical Solution Out "There".
Focus on the magic within. You have it, I know you do. We ALL do. The one certitude online is this: Content is king. And creativity is coveted. Show you have lots of both in areas that you care most about, and people will beat down your door to revel in it. They do for me, and I guarantee the same for you as well. Life is short, and the journey of 1000 miles begins with one simple step. What are you waiting for?
